and I appreciate the opportunity to lead a dynamic board and devoted staff. Serving the families of seriously ill children is a laudable mission which we all take very seriously.  Through generous donations from our community of families, businesses, and volunteers, we are able to serve close to 2,800 families a year through our programs.  When my husband, Benton, and I chaired the Capital Campaign to raise the funds to build the new DC Ronald McDonald House, we were able to tell the RMHC story to many sectors of the community.  We were humbled by the generous spirits of those with whom we shared; who wanted to support RMHC in helping families, so that they too might have future stories to tell.  Come and join us – through volunteering, donating, or attending our events.  Together we can continue sharing stories!” ~ Dorinda Burroughs, Chair
