Volunteers

Our volunteers are the heartbeat of the Houses. Individuals and groups help to keep Ronald McDonald House® a safe, comfortable and supportive place for families to take respite.

Volunteer Application

Ronald McDonald Houses rely on volunteers on a daily basis. Most House volunteers commit to a two-hour or four-hour shift each week.   They share their interests and talents to help with House needs including: administrative work, family check-ins, light house keeping, grounds keeping, House maintenance, special event support, baking and/or cooking for families and a host of other talents. While this list includes many of the typical ongoing needs, we are grateful that our volunteers are willing to be flexible to the needs of the House and the families and we are always looking for those that wish to share their special talents, such as music, design, and photography.

Groups or individuals interested in helping with special projects or cooking meals for our families are greatly appreciated. Volunteer training is provided by our House Managers and experienced volunteers.
